New week, new workout plan. This one is a transition into Ragnar training: it cuts my lifting in half and adds 10 miles of running per week plus stair/hill training. And of course, I went to boxing. Which was actually rough because I did something weird to my shoulder at volleyball and so was basically a righty only AND it was a one-on-one session.
Sporting the fit deja. |
There were no church activities as it's spring break week. Which left me time to create and finalize a new shirt design. I added both my shirt designs to my Etsy shop (@HUTCHvsNPTE) and sent a few people samples to try out for me so I know my POD supplier is functioning and the shirts look good.
Still not sure if she was happy to see us. |
Workwise, this was a crazy week since I was trying to get all my patients done by noon Friday so we could have an early weekend. The problem is that with their terrible productivity calculations, there's no way I'm meeting productivity in a normal week and I HAVE to take any patients my scheduler gives me up to that point. I ended up being half a point over the requirement and I swore never to do this again.
Genetics v Gym with a lil minty fresh |
Rog and I did end up leaving town early Friday (after I saw some people and Rog got a root canal) to book it up to Utah. We actually arrived at a decent time (thanks to Daylight Savings, which we don't believe in). And Hannah (bless her) had Kelly cooking up some dinner to be eaten upon arrival.
She didn't go to the game, but also you can't see any food in her teeth, so win? |
Saturday, Hannah, Sandy Cheeks, and I went to the gym for a leg day. Neither one of them wanted to do single leg ham curls on a ball, but I also didn't want to bike for 15 minutes either. We showered from the pump and chilled until Linner at Village Inn. Lauren joined in as the prodigal child, but unfortunately nobody was sick enough to fork over any tickets. It was good to see my best friend even if all her friends think I hate them. (Not saying I don't.)
They started all the Celtics cheering you heard. And some you didn't. |
Then the crew headed up to the game in 2 squished vehicles, all sporting Celtics green (kind of). Roger had to be fed immediately and so we went on a quick snack run. Xandy refused to use dad's money to buy $5 waters, so we were stuck using the one drink cup that Roger got. The dude in front of us kept jabbing us about supporting the C's and also sent a pic of us to his friends. (And, since I was reading his texts, he may have gone to the ER post-game to get his gallbladder removed.)
Single kids crew. (I invited myself). |
Anyways, it ended with a Jazz victory despite the Celtics having a 20-point lead in the first. And then we resumed our traditional Hutchins SPRINT to the car. And drove home. We had a goons church day, ate some grub, and Rog and I headed home. We snagged some Subway and stopped in Page for pork chops, and were back in town by 8:15.
